By enquiring or booking via WhatsApp you agree to these basic travel-agency terms for Bajo Speedboat day trips and private charters operated by PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia.
Operator and scope
These terms apply to bookings made for Bajo Speedboat products (shared open trip and private speedboat charter) sold by PT KOMODO EXPLORER INDONESIA. A booking is confirmed only when our team confirms date, product, pax count, and payment terms in the WhatsApp thread.
Prices and what is included
Open-trip and charter prices are as published on bajospeedboat.com/price/ (or as quoted on WhatsApp if a package differs). Unless stated otherwise, Komodo National Park entrance fees (WNI/WNA rates) are paid separately at the park gate. Headline prices typically include boat, licensed captain/crew, and the inclusions listed on the product page; personal expenses, tips, and optional extras are excluded.
Payment
Payment method (cash or bank transfer) and timing are agreed in WhatsApp before departure. There is no automated card checkout on this website. Seats or boats may be held only after the deposit or full payment terms stated in chat are met.
Cancellation and changes
Guest-initiated cancellation or date change: notify us on WhatsApp as early as possible. Refund or rebooking rules depend on how close you are to departure and whether the boat/crew are already committed — we will state the applicable rule in writing in the chat for your booking. Operator-initiated cancellation (e.g. unsafe sea conditions, force majeure, mechanical issue with no safe alternative): we will offer a free rebooking to another date or a refund of amounts paid to us for the cancelled product (park fees paid at the gate are subject to park rules).
Guest responsibilities
Provide accurate pax counts and pickup details. Follow crew and ranger instructions at all times, especially around Komodo dragons and in the water. Wear the provided life jacket when instructed. Guests are responsible for personal belongings and for any park rules or local regulations. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Weather and itinerary
Sea conditions can change. The operator may alter stop order, skip a stop, or return early when safety requires it. Such operational changes are not a breach of contract when made for safety or lawful park instructions.
Liability
We operate with licensed captains and safety equipment. To the extent permitted by Indonesian law, the operator is not liable for loss or injury arising from guest failure to follow safety instructions, third-party acts, or force majeure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes should first be raised in good faith on WhatsApp or email; unresolved disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Indonesia.
